This coming week is another race week! After the third long break of the season, F1 is finally back for the final three races. As the season comes to an end, Lando Norris (McLaren) is at the forefront of motorsports media.

Norris is one of the few drivers on the grid right now that is on the same team as he was when he entered F1. Norris was one of the 2019 rookies, joined by Alex Albon (Williams) and George Russel (Mercedes).

Norris’s first teammate was Carlos Sainz (Ferrari). They continue to be friends to this day. Norris even attended Sainz’s family dinner after Sainz won the Mexico Grand Prix.

After Sainz, Norris was joined by Daniel Ricciardo (retired) until 2023 when he began racing with his current teammate Oscar Piastri (McLaren). Piastri and Norris are fairly well-matched, both having won their first races this season.

Norris is also one of the faces of the YouTube channel Quadrant, which also has its own clothing line.

Norris is one of the younger members of the grid and celebrated his 25th birthday on Nov. 13. Having begun his career so early, he has had a lot of growth. This year is the first year he has had a fighting chance against Max Verstappen (Red Bull) in the championship. Due to his young age, Norris’ main struggle is letting his adrenaline get the best of him when fighting Verstappen on the track. There were many races this season where he could have come back and won, but his fighting slowed him down.

Norris has luckily gotten to share many podiums and wins this year with his fans. It will be interesting to see how Norris’s dynamics with the other drivers and the sport itself changes in the coming years, especially if he is fighting for the championship in 2025.
