It’s hard to believe that The Pulse is turning five years old! After all of these years of providing campus with news, videos, radio and so much more, all of us at The Pulse have decided to celebrate, and we want everyone to join in on the party!
This Saturday, April 29, The Pulse will be hosting its Fifth Birthday Party from 8 to 11 p.m. in the Union. We want all of campus to be there, so here are five reasons why you won’t want to miss out on the celebration:
- There will be performances from Vacation Manor and the Wildcards!
Because what’s a party without some awesome music?
- There will be free food!
Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love free snacks? Besides, many people are probably getting low on their dining dollars, so come and treat yourself to some birthday cake.
- Giveaways!
A GoPro and some equally cool stuff could be yours… if you show up.
- Party games!
Have you ever tried giant Jenga or supersized Connect Four? Well, tomorrow night is your chance! The Pulse will also have a photo booth, face painting and other fun activities to keep you and your friends entertained throughout the night!
- This party isn’t just about the Pulse… it’s about you.
Students are the reason why we do what we do at The Pulse. It’s an organization run by students, for students, and we wouldn’t be what we are today without you. So, if all of the other reasons failed to convince you, then at least come to celebrate yourself, your fellow classmates and the Messiah community that we call home.
Be sure to pick up a special edition copy of the latest Swinging Bridge Magazine for more information on the past, present and future of The Pulse, as well as a full schedule of the birthday party events! Be there or be square.
