At around 3 p.m. this afternoon, a power blip on campus caused some disruption leading to a power outage in South Complex. Director of Facility Services, Brad Markley, confirmed at the scene that the power blip caused a fuse to be blown resulting in the loss of power. Facility services are currently waiting on PPL to fix the issue. There is no timeline yet as to when power will be restored.
Update as of 9:07pm: All power has been restored to South Complex. Students were notified via text alert – more to come on the cause of the outage.
