Read A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini.

Mariam is married to a much older man when she is very young, not unlike many other girls around her. Taken away from the only family she ever had, she is forced to adjust to a new life. Laila is an educated young woman growing up in the streets of Kabul, Afghanistan. As she grows up, her life becomes intertwined with Mariam’s. In this book, Hosseini takes his experience, and that of many others, and explores life in Afghanistan as war ravages the country. Warning: Some domestic abuse.

The song talks about the process of getting over a breakup and the “rules” Lipa has given herself for making sure she doesn’t return to her ex. Not only are the lyrics catchy, but the song has a fun beat to follow along with.
