Watch Pride & Prejudice.

Even if you’re not a fan of romance movies, the cinematography in this movie has been highly acclaimed by many critics for good reason. Matthew Macfayden and Kiera Knightly come together to play Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet in the most recent movie adaptation of the original novel. Paired with an evenly-toned soundtrack, this is often considered the favorite re-make by loyal Austen fans.

Listen to Swish Swish by Katy Perry.

Perry twists her earlier music with a sassy new sound as she challenges the new love interest of her ex-lover. With implications that the new love interest can’t live up to Perry’s good reputation, the lyrics taunt her competition and deliver some witty burns.
