Today around 4:45 p.m. the power went out in many buildings across campus for about two hours due to high winds and fallen trees. PPL has responded and it has now been restored.
Due to the high winds, damage occurred. “A tree went down in Bowmansdale by the press building,” Kathie Shaffer, Vice President of Operations, said. “It took out wires.”
The Union Cafe, which was previously closed, will re-open with limited service.
