Championships were won and tickets were punched to Nationals this week. Here’s what you may have missed:

Women’s Basketball defeated Lebanon Valley College 62-51 to advance to the MAC Commonwealth Championship game. Alecia Rohrer contributed 19 points and 12 rebounds, and Maci Thornton added 14 points.

On Saturday, the women won the MAC Commonwealth Championship against Lycoming College 53-46. With the win, the Falcons claimed their third straight MAC Commonwealth title. Rohrer was named the tournament MVP.

Men’s Lacrosse defeated Southern Virginia University 17-10 earlier in the week. Joseph Franken and Garrett Amsbaugh led the way with five goals each.

Over the weekend, the men beat Ohio Wesleyan University 15-9. Evan Stoker had 11 saves in the win.

Women’s Lacrosse faced the number one Gettysburg Bullets on Thursday, ultimately losing 17-7. First-year Jessie Wynne recorded her first career goal in the loss.

Men’s Volleyball won their three matches of the week against Eastern University (25-12, 25-20, 25-23), Wilkes University (17-25, 25-20, 25-20, 20-16) and Alvernia (25-14, 20-25, 25-23, 25-21, 15-13). The Falcons are now 5-0 in conference play.

Wrestling won their sixth straight Regional title over the weekend. Josiah Gehr, Stephen Maloney, Brian Shermeyer and Victor DeFrance also punched their tickets to Nationals in Roanoke, VA which will take place March 8-9.

Baseball opening the 2019 campaign taking down Houghton College 10-2, and Alfred State College on Saturday. Pitchers Jordan Nichols and Ethan Hess got the wins.

Women’s Tennis lost to the University of Scranton 9-0 on Saturday.

Men’s Track and Field finished in fourth at the MAC Indoor Championships. Caleb Christner earned his first conference title in the pole vault after clearing a 4.40m.

Women’s Track and Field finished in second at the MAC Indoor Championships. Ester Seeland earned the MAC Indoor Rookie of the Year title after winning the 800m race and being a part of the 4x800m relay team which earned a first-place finish.
