It’s only the first week of classes, but everyone is certainly feeling the gloomy weather and trying to avoid the sicknesses going around. Here are some great ways to avoid being around all the sick people and to help you feel better if you are sick.
Read The Girl Who Drank the Moon by Kelly Barnhill.
In a village where it’s tradition to sacrifice the youngest baby to a witch in the woods, no one has ever questioned what happens to the baby or why they do this. In the woods, a witch brings abandoned babies to new homes. Until the night she accidentally feeds a baby girl with strands of moonlight, giving her magical powers and child to raise on her own.
Listen to One Little Soldier by Regina Spektor.
Part of the soundtrack for Bombshell, this song is a challenge to male power in the workplace. The clever lyrics question the role of powerful women in male dominated industries and being willing to stand up for themselves. It also touches on elements of the #MeToo movement that the movie is based on.
Dr. Jason Bull is a psychologist and trial scientist. It’s his job to analyze the jury and figure out the best way to use their strengths and weaknesses to his advantage in court. It doesn’t matter what the case is, Bull has a team ready to make even the most unlikely cases into an easy win. With the TAC backing him, Bull changes the game of the criminal justice system.
Watch Jumanji: The Next Level.
Following the adventures in the first movie, four teenagers are pulled back into the videogame world of Jumanji when they go looking for their friend. This time, their roles get mixed up and it’s a whole new level of the game they have to beat before getting back to their real lives.
Make yourself a hot cup of tea and just enjoy being indoors. If you’re sick, this might help make you feel better and hopefully clears your head a little. Even if you’re perfectly healthy, it’s nice to have something warm in your hands during these rainy days. If tea isn’t your thing, coffee or any other hot drink works too!
Lovely just what I was searching for.
It’s nearly impossible to find educated people about this topic, but you sound like you know what you’re talking about! Thanks
